About Sophia
I'm an aspiring Philosopher/Writer/Teacher/Musician concluding my final year at University. My first student was 3 and a half years ago. I have tutored 3 GCSE students in English, Religious Studies and Drama (theory). All students achieved a grade B (grade 6) and above. I recently tutored a Hungarian Student throughout their dissertation, aiding in structure, research method, researching, and editing. They achieved a high 2:1 for their dissertation.

I teach anyone who wishes to learn, from Secondary school to Degree level. I largely base my lesson structure on my students learning styles, goals, and capabilities. I largely consult analytic and evaluative writing. What has worked well for this type of work has been a process of structuring, planning, and researching in a session, the student writing up a draft outside of the session then reviewing what they have done in the next session. This has worked for my previous students however the process is flexible and should be shaped around the needs of the student.
