About Sofia
I have spoken Spanish all my life and took GCSE and AS Level exams in the subject.
My main past teaching experience has been in Ecuador, where I taught children from ages 4-16 everyday for 6 months. Though I mostly taught English there, this helped me to know how best to translate and explain the differences between English and Spanish.

Having held many one to one tutoring classes, I have learnt how to be attentive so that I focus on the areas that will most help my student improve over time. I also tend to allow a good amount of time to practice conversation, to really improve skills and boost confidence levels.
Though some of the lesson needs to be structured, I do like to combine mix in plenty of pictures, games and videos.
In general, my aim is to keep my classes fun and interesting, as learning should never be a chore!
