About Rebecca
I am a current student at Loughborough University, studying for an MSc in Data Science and a previous BSc in Physics. By 21, I conducted research for medical imaging, developed sensors for Leicester Royal Infirmary and produced AI programs for commercial applications. Without my Maths and Physics, this would not have been possible, and the value of these subjects is immense.
I received all A*s and 9s at GCSE and A-Level in Maths and Physics (even full marks on some papers). I performed below average until year 10, but I exceeded all my predicted grades by three boundaries and made the most improvement (by far) amongst my peers. Now I hope to share my techniques and help anyone going through these exams.

My teaching is designed entirely for the student focussing on areas of struggle, whether that be topics or general revision techniques. Maths taught in classrooms doesn't account for the diverse range of students, which often leads to confusion and lack of understanding. I break down problems in a manageable way and adapt to the student as I understand them better. Even when a student demonstrates an understanding of a topic, the phrasing in exams and unfamiliar presentation of the material often lead to being unable to answer. Therefore teaching a topic isn't sufficient; I also walk through exam-style questions and give take-home questions for the next session.
