Nellie would make an excellent tutor for anybody, regardless of that person’s academic level or school year. She is very committed academically, but something I deem equally important is her ability to actually hand those skills down, to those at an earlier stage in their education. While she achieved excellent marks in school, she is also very sociable, outgoing, and physically active. She is not only a role model in the exam hall — she runs marathons, plays the drums and climbed a 5000m peak. This is extremely rare in my personal experience, and for this reason I consider her to be a natural leader and an incredibly dynamic achiever.

Nellie Luxford is a mature, patient and highly intelligent person. Her academic record speaks for itself: she has consistently topped her classes in science subjects, mathematics and Spanish, winning numerous prizes along the way. Nellie worked as a maths tutor to other students at her school, and has experience as a (very popular!) childminder. Her ability to connect with young people, to understand their academic needs and help them to tackle the challenges they face, is both intuitive and empathetic. As a tutor, she will not disappoint.
As well as her outstanding academic qualifications, Nellie understands the contribution of physical exercise to wellbeing. She is a champion runner and a well-travelled, adventurous spirit. Most of all, perhaps, she is a friendly person who loves children.
