About Chukwuemelie
I'm a physiologist who graduated the faculty's valedictorian. I've been in the art of teaching for a while - before gaining admission into the university and while in the university. Having studied physiology, I was faced with the problem of complexity associated with the course and sought a way to simplify it for easy understanding and durable assimilation. This working principle I seek to pass on to whoever cares to learn. I understand that patience is required in achieving the desired teaching goal: well, all I have is patience (lol).

My teaching method would be student-centered approach learning. My primary role would be to coach and facilitate student learning and overall comprehension of material, and to measure student learning through both formal and informal forms of assessment, like group projects, student portfolios, and class participation. In the student-centered classroom, teaching and assessment are connected because student learning is continuously measured during teacher instruction.
To also ensure clarity and better learning, I would try as much as possible to avoid information dump but rather build the topics from seed to tree, ensuring that every student is carried along throughout the growth process.
The classes would be divided into phases of active learning (where the teacher facilitates the learning process), group discussion (where the students brainstorm over a given task for better understanding and assimilation) and personal drills (where each student gets to carry out assessments on their own to boost self-dependence and confidence).
Also, the class would be laced with humor - this has been proven to hoister a learning-friendly environment. The reward system would be adopted to motivate students to action.
