About Henry
I’m a professional jazz pianist and vocalist with years of performance and teaching experience. I’ve played across the UK in venues ranging from care homes and wedding venues to jazz clubs and hotels, and I bring that real-world experience into my teaching.

I take a personalised, student-focused approach to teaching. Whether you're a complete beginner or returning to the piano after time away, I tailor each lesson to your goals, interests and pace. Rather than focusing heavily on grades and exams, I help students develop a strong musical foundation by learning the songs they actually want to play. We cover essential theory and technique naturally along the way – always in a practical, engaging way that supports musical growth and enjoyment. My lessons typically last 30 or 60 minutes, depending on age, level and preference. For younger children, I recommend 30-minute lessons to keep things focused and fun.
