About Kacie
I have been involved in music from a very young age. I decided to learn the violin at the age of 6 (my parents were not too happy about this). As my love for music grew, my curiosity for different instruments grew, as a result I had a list of instruments I wanted to learn/explore. First on my list was piano, followed by alto saxophone and bass guitar - plus many others (French horn being the latest). As well as playing instruments, I have a passion for arranging, composing and transcribing music for anything from solo instruments, to larger ensembles, often arranging music for my secondary school band - no task is ever too big!
I am now a third year students studying BA Music (specialising in Community, Education and Wellbeing) at York St. Student where I plan to carry on studying at post graduate level. I have been teaching for four years now with a mixed age range of students and have gained positive reviews from them all.
