About Ivy
I am a piano tutor with 7 years of experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in Music and Piano Studies. During my teaching journey, I have helped students improve technique, performance confidence, and overall musical understanding. Supporting learners as they develop their abilities is one of the most enjoyable parts of my work.
My teaching approach combines structure with flexibility. I adapt lessons to suit each student’s learning style while maintaining clear goals and steady progress. Creating a supportive learning environment helps students stay motivated and engaged.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy studying piano literature, collaborating with other musicians, and exploring new teaching methods. These experiences allow me to bring fresh ideas into lessons. I am passionate about helping students enjoy music while achieving their personal goals.

My piano lessons are designed to help students become confident musicians through practical learning and steady progress. We focus on note reading, rhythm awareness, finger dexterity, hand independence, chord patterns, and musical interpretation. Lessons are structured to make learning clear, engaging, and rewarding.
Students participate in technical exercises, sight-reading practice, rhythm development activities, repertoire exploration, and listening exercises. I encourage learners to understand musical concepts rather than simply memorizing pieces. This helps students build confidence and become more independent musicians.
I enjoy helping learners discover their musical strengths while developing solid piano skills. Through supportive feedback and patient instruction, students gain greater confidence and enjoyment at the keyboard. My goal is to create lessons that inspire long-term musical growth.
