About Julie
I have been teaching Pilates for 7 years and have a background in contemporary dance, somatic movement and psychology. I am a qualified Pilates matwork instructor with additional training in remedial matwork, and I am a certified movement analyst (Laban/Bartenieff).

My teaching is influenced by somatic movement and Bartenieff Fundamentals. I therefore have an approach to teaching that encourages self awareness. My teaching focuses on how we are moving rather than on the shapes or positions achieved...it is all about the journey.
