About Maia
I am a music teacher and creative (and constant student) and have been so for 13 years plus. I have studied within the AMEB system and at university (Bachelor of Arts (Music) and Master of Recording Arts) and so my background varies from classical to contemporary.

My approach to teaching is to help you be able to truly understand the piano and music itself, to develop an intuition with it and learn skills, not just a repertoire. My background ranges from classical to contemporary, as a music teacher, creative, and a student. From this varied background, I can teach core skills so that students can build a strong foundation and the confidence and understanding to take on new songs and genres. I have had 13 years of teaching experience and within lessons, I guide and adapt to my students' goals and needs. Students range in all ages and levels. I also teach singing, so two instruments can also be combined in your sessions :)

Details
Half-hour lessons are recommended for piano beginners :) $50/half-hour lesson, monthly only ($200, 4 lessons). Quarterly reports are also offered if students would like them :) In Person / Online Only (no travel outs)
