About Jet

I am a dedicated Political Science student with experience as a Study Buddy Leader and Peer Facilitator, where I have had the opportunity to support fellow students in understanding lessons, completing academic tasks, and developing better study habits.

My experience working with students has taught me the importance of patience, clear communication, and adapting to different learning styles. I believe that every student learns differently, so I make an effort to explain lessons in a simple, organized, and engaging way.

As a tutor, my goal is not only to help students finish their homework or prepare for examinations, but also to help them understand their lessons, think critically, and become more confident and independent learners.

My background in Political Science has strengthened my skills in reading comprehension, writing, research, critical thinking, communication, history, government, civics, and social sciences. Combined with my experience as a peer facilitator, I can provide students with a supportive learning environment where they can comfortably ask questions and learn without fear of making mistakes.

About the lesson

What sets me apart is my commitment to making learning understandable, practical, and approachable. As a student myself, I understand that students can sometimes feel overwhelmed by difficult lessons or academic requirements. I don't expect students to understand everything immediately. Instead, I am patient and willing to explain concepts in different ways until they become clearer.

My Political Science background also allows me to help students develop critical thinking, reading comprehension, writing, research, argumentation, and communication skills —abilities that are useful across many subjects.

Most importantly, I want my students to leave each session not only with completed homework, but with a better understanding of the lesson and greater confidence in their own abilities.
