About Kathryn
I am an undergraduate at the University of Cambridge studying Human Social and Political science. I am in my second year studying politics and sociology. I have a passion for language and empowering others by broadening skill sets. The TEFL training provided me with skills not only in teaching English, but also in how to best connect with students to get the best results possible. I have learnt a variety of techniques for teaching English speaking, writing, reading and listening to provide a broad range of skills to a student, whether it is someone new to the language or someone looking to build their confidence.

I have completed the 50-hour online TEFL qualification for teaching English to Chinese students, ranging in age and ability, with most practice with school age but this is not necessary. The lessons would focus on a combination of grammar and literacy, and practice with real life scenarios to prepare you for using English in a real world setting.
