I have been teaching functional English for 7 years in the adult education sector. I am experienced both in classroom based learning and individual tutoring. Many of my former students have gone on to gain entrance in to university or employment.

My teaching method is learner focussed. I use coaching and facilitating techniques to encourage students to think for themselves and develop a deeper understanding of the subject content. Each lesson is determined by the learner based on their individual goals and pace of learning, and I choose resources that are meaningful to the individual.
