About Unnatii
I am Unnati Modanwal, a Political Science postgraduate with a diverse and strong academic background. My academic journey reflects a combination of analytical skills from Science and Mathematics and a deep understanding of Political Science and International Relations.
I completed my Class 10 with exceptional academic performance, which built a strong foundation in analytical thinking, discipline, and academic excellence. In Class 12, I pursued a Science background with Mathematics, developing strong numerical, logical, and problem-solving abilities. This scientific and mathematical foundation has helped me approach academic subjects with a structured and analytical mindset.
Later, I chose to pursue my interest in society, governance, politics, and international affairs through higher education. I completed my Bachelor’s and Master’s in Political Science, with my Master’s specialization in International Relations from Banaras Hindu University (BHU). This transition from Science and Mathematics to Political Science reflects my ability to explore and excel across different academic disciplines.
During my postgraduate studies, I developed a strong interest in International Relations, Political Theory, Governance, Public Administration, and contemporary political issues. My academic work has covered topics such as Kautilya’s Arthashastra and Dharma, multiculturalism, Orientalism, feminism, environmental politics, public administration, and international relations.
I have also explored areas related to education and skill development, women’s empowerment, child development, and the Aspirational District Programme in India. These experiences have broadened my understanding of the connection between education, society, governance, and public policy.
Teaching is another area that I am genuinely passionate about. I enjoy making Political Science simple, interesting, and relatable for students by connecting theoretical concepts with real-life examples, stories, current affairs, and everyday situations. My academic journey has strengthened my research, analytical thinking, communication, teaching, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
Overall, my journey from Science and Mathematics in school to Political Science and International Relations at the postgraduate level reflects my curiosity, adaptability, academic versatility, and willingness to learn across disciplines. I aspire to use this diverse academic background in teaching, research, education, and policy-oriented work.
