About Marte
I recently graduated from the University of Cape Town with an M.Phil degree in environment, society and sustainability. Prior to this, I was a bachelor student in social anthropology with a minor in human geography. I have always had a passion for history and international relations and enjoy discovering and understanding the linkages between global and local events.
I have experience teaching 5th graders in geography, English, Norwegian, history and natural science.

I like to use a combination of teaching methods and I believe to be able to remember and understand it is essential to work with the material in different ways. This could be using visualisation, read and re-tell, create powerpoints etc. I am able to teach lessons up to bachelor/honours level.
