Teaching Approach: I use a student-centered and inquiry-based methodology, encouraging learners to actively engage with scientific concepts. I integrate real-life applications, visual diagrams, and hands-on examples to simplify complex topics. Lessons are structured into three stages: concept introduction, guided practice, and independent application. Lesson Length: My typical lesson is 60 minutes, with flexibility for shorter sessions for younger learners or extended sessions (up to 90 minutes) for exam preparation. Qualifications & Experience: I hold a Master’s degree in Forensic Accounting and Financial Criminology (2024) and have experience teaching IGCSE Lower Secondary Science (Stage 6/Year 6 level). I design tailored lesson plans, worksheets, and assessment activities to support diverse learning needs. I also specialize in developing students’ ability to “think like scientists” — identifying independent, dependent, and control variables, and answering Cambridge-style experimental questions. Target Learners: My lessons are intended for IGCSE Lower Secondary students (Years 6–8, ages 10–13), particularly those who require additional support in mastering science fundamentals, experiment-based questions, and exam skills.
