About Somi
I am a guitar tutor with 12 years of experience teaching students from schools, colleges, and professional backgrounds. My goal is to make learning guitar fun, practical, and effective for all students. I believe that every student has a unique learning style, so I personalise lessons to match their pace, goals, and interests.
My teaching focuses on developing technique, understanding music theory, improvisation, and creative expression. Students can explore classical, rock, jazz, or modern music depending on their preferences. Over the years, I have successfully taught over 200 students, many of whom have performed in concerts, competitions, and recitals, while others have pursued music as a rewarding hobby.
I use structured exercises, interactive lessons, and practical examples to make learning engaging and productive. My approach is patient, encouraging, and motivating, ensuring students enjoy every step of their learning journey.

I follow a simple and practical teaching methodology for Guitar that helps students learn comfortably. My teaching is based on communication, accountability, and integrity. I explain each topic in a clear way and use examples to make learning easier.
Communication is very important in my classes. I create a relaxed environment where students can ask questions freely. I also adjust lessons based on their learning speed.
I focus on accountability by giving regular practice work and guiding students on how to practice effectively. I monitor their progress and help them improve step by step.
Integrity is at the core of my teaching. I give honest feedback and motivate students positively. I also include lessons on rhythm, chords, and basic music theory.
