About Eden
I have always been passionate about learning, and biology is a subject close to my heart! Even though I love the subject I know how difficult certain aspects of Biology can be so I want to work with you through your own obstacles so that you continue to grow your passion for the subject!
I currently study Zoology at university and I am thoroughly enjoying the subject. One of my modules had me researching a carnivore of my choice and I have now found a love for the spotted hyaena, specifically looking at its social bonds. The opportunities I have in zoology would not be possible without the foundations of knowledge from my A Level Biology!
For the last six months I have online tutored on a different platform, covering GCSE science, maths and English so I have plenty of experience with different subjects and learning styles.

Biology can be a daunting and difficult subject, I know from my A Level experience that finding a way to understand certain topics can feel near impossible. However, I benefited from improving the gaps in my GCSE knowledge to bridge the gap between the two.
We will start the first session by assessing your confidence in all key modules of your exam board, and from there we can timetable in order to prioritise modules that you feel you could be stronger in whilst also blending in some low-level A level content to prepare you for when you start your course.
After the initial meeting, lessons will explore different forms of learning from PowerPoints to recall activities, and each lesson will become more tailored as to what suits you! These lessons are designed to consolidate in old but also educate you in new areas of Biology.
I studied OCR Biology at both GCSE and A Level (achieved an A) but key concepts are the same across different exam boards so I can assist wherever necessary.
I promise to deliver a safe and relaxing learning environment so that you can grow your love of the subject of biology, it truly is the very foundations of our life!
If you have already completed your first year of A Level Biology I am happy to assist in consolidating any gaps you have in your knowledge ahead of year 2!
