About Colin
Having studied the Russian language throughout university, I have a deep understanding of the ever-complicated Russian grammar and all of the problems a person can run into while trying to learn it. I lived in St. Petersburg for 2 months in 2019 and have taken courses in Russian film, poetry, and drama, all of which we can work from as our lessons move forward!

Whether you've never spoken a word of Russian in your life or can have a conversation but don't know the proper grammar, I'm here to help! A first lesson would consist of practicing writing and reading with a few letters at a time, getting to a place where you can read many Russian words after just one session! More experienced students will work on reading short stories and sections of books, analyzing the grammar and figuring out ways to lock in newly learned words, as well as engaging in conversation exercises to keep progress moving and entertaining.
