About Divine

Howdy! My name is Divine and I am your new, potential, fun and funny teacher from Austin, Texas.Being a versatile educator, I am hoping to be given the opportunity to instruct a wide variety of students from various backgrounds and all facets of society. My goal is to foster and maintain an open, honest, communicative, and supportive in person or e-class, in which each student feels safe, special, and appropriately challenged. Beyond teaching I like to spend my time in nature whether walking, biking or jogging. I am a movie fanatic and love to watch foreign films. And I am a general all around explorer, traveler, and language enthusiasist who is looking forward to connecting and learning about others. Let's connect!

About the lesson

It’s awesome that you are wanting to improve your English and I am more than willing to help you with that. Even though I am a native English speaker, I am also a qualified TEFL teacher. Most of my teaching experience is from the United States where I tutored students prepping for their English exams. Then I decided to take my teaching skills to South Korea. Where I taught for a few years…I met the most lovely little students from ages 4 to 15. I would approach their lessons with compassion and understanding that I was teaching multiple students at the same time at different levels. By playing fun and interactive games, watching media, as well as reading together I got to see these students grow and most importantly achieve their own goals. As for your English lessons, I believe I have enough experience to help you with your exams, job interviews, or if you just want to improve your conversational skills, I can help you with that too. I know exactly where you are coming from since I am currently learning two languages myself, French and Dutch. Therefore I know the journey of learning a other language can be difficult sometimes and mistakes will be made. And this is where I come in to to guide you and make you feel comfortable and build your confidence. So I would like to take the time to invite to take a lesson with me and I looking forward to meeting you.
