About April
My name is April van Amelsvoort. I graduated as a singer and actress and I mainly work in the musical world. In addition, I have been giving private and group singing lessons since 2012. During my lessons we work on singing technique, presentation and text experience so that you get more control over your own voice and feel more comfortable while singing. I think it is important that you get concrete tips with which you can get started and I try to explain everything as well and clearly as possible. I myself mainly work in the musical world, but I teach all styles of music.

I studied at the Fontys conservatory in the direction of Music Theater. Here I obtained my Bachelor & Master degree. After six years of studying, I still wanted to learn more about specific singing techniques and get answers to all my questions. I have followed many courses and training. This has resulted in the fact that I am now an official 'Estill Voice Training' teacher and am busy with my teacher training in the technique 'Complete Vocal Technique'. I don't believe that one specific technique can be the absolute truth. That is why I try to make the best possible combination of these techniques in order to get the best result from your voice.
