About Lucas

I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering from UTFPR and work with structural calculations for the oil and gas sector, a highly technological and complex sector. However, in my professional and personal career, I have always been involved with education. I have been a volunteer teacher for over four years and was a monitor/group leader at summer camps for over 9 seasons. These experiences have taught me sensitivity and patience when dealing with children and teenagers and how to treat them with respect and encouragement.

About the lesson

I hold a free first class to get to know the student, the specific needs they want support for and the teaching materials they already use at their school.
For the next classes, I try to work on the subject in the way the student is used to, which makes learning easier.
However, I am always attentive to other approaches, analogies or parallels with the student's context and interests that may clarify obscure or difficult-to-understand points.
I focus on physics and mathematics subjects for elementary and high school.

Lucas's response
Aluna buscando se desenvolver nas competências de matemática. É respeitosa e interessada. Poderia ter feito alguns exercícios de uma aula para outra.
