About Billy
I have been teaching acting, and voice at local institutions such as Modus Operandi dance school, and Simon Fraser University for over ten years. I have studied with prominent Canadian voice teachers such as Richard Armstrong and Katherine Duncanson. I hold a BFA in Theatre from the School for Contemporary Arts at Simon Fraser University.

I’ve been a professional actor for over 24 years, performing classical texts by Shakespeare, and Greek playwrights as well as contemporary writers. I understand how to breakdown language and find ways to understand and interpret the text. I will give you tools in reading out loud, and in having meaningful conversations about the text. I can also offer techniques in public speaking and the development of your voice so you can feel confident in social, or more formal situations.
