About Tabby
I am an experience and versatile guitarists who graduated with a BA(Hons) in Professional Musicianship (Guitar). I have years of high level gigging experience and play in a variety of originals and function bands. I can teach all electric guitar styles, and I also specialise in Math Rock, Percussive Fingerstyle, and the Nuevo flamenco strumming technique. I am an experienced composer and have written guitar parts for many different genres over the past 15 years of playing. I particularly enjoy live performance and studio work and can help educate you on recording and production techniques.

I offer guitar lessons of 30, 45 or 60 minutes, to ages from 6 years+. I predominantly focus on electric guitar, but I can also teach steel-string acoustic if preferred. My approach to teaching involves really getting to know my student's specific goals and personalise all my lesson plans to help achieve these goals. As someone with years of teaching experience, I am also strong at identifying different learning styles and applying these to my individual lessons - depending on what works best for you!
If you are looking to follow the graded route, I can teach the Trinity Rock and Pop guitar syllabus up to Grade 8. Whilst it isn't a main focus, I can also teach music theory to a high standard. Whether you want to play along to your favourite tracks and solos, develop a range of techniques to an advanced standard, or simply strum along with chords to a song, I would love to help you out! All necessary lesson equipment provided.
