About Dylan
I am a professional guitarist, and am a member of 3 internationally renowned metal bands. My bands have been covered by Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, and Stereogum. I have been teaching guitar for 15 years, and have been studying and playing guitar for 25 years. I have a BA in Music from NYU.

I am an expert rock and metal guitarist, and am also highly proficient in jazz, classical, blues, and more. I teach music theory, technique, transcribing, composition and improvisation. I generally use the students' aesthetic preferences as a jumping point for finding existing musical examples to teach from, and intersperse that with theory, dexterity training, and other interdisciplinary methods.
