About Heidi
Hi there!
My name is Heidi and I am a professional English content creator, marketer, and language tutor.
I have helped over 600 students in the last year achieve their IELTS band scores and more than 900 students improve their language ability in Daily conversational and business English over the past 3 years.
I have managed a team of 38 teachers to improve their teaching ability and helped them grow within companies.
I have a comfortable and friendly class atmosphere but rest assured that the focus will stay on your development and although weaknesses will be pointed out, I never forget that confidence is key in any language!

I create lessons according to students' learning methods and needs as I believe there is a fine balance between students' study needs and what they are able to set in stone during a lesson.
Anybody can learn anything but there needs to be a solid foundation to start from and it is the teacher's job to build on that foundation and make customizations in order for the student to learn proficiently.
I am fluent in English, and Afrikaans and intermediate in Portuguese as I believe language teacher, we should constantly develop and learn more to be able to communicate and understand cultures better.
From my lessons, you are welcomed to a comfortable environment but the focus stays on your studies to be efficient and I would love all my students to know that from each of my lessons, you will be able to leave class satisfied and a feeling of knowing more knowledge not only about English but the culture that goes with it.
My lessons are for adults from the intermediate phase up to advanced levels and IELTS learning from band scores 4.5 - 8.0.
I will do a full measurement of your English level score at the start and apply custom lessons to get the score you need for any test or challenge that lies ahead of you.
