About Porter
My previous job was being the only 3D designer at McCormick & Co, so you can see my current work on the grocery store shelves in spices, sauces, glass bottles, flip-top shaker caps, pepper grinders, hot sauce containers, and more.
My goal was to make the products proud to contain the flavors, and easy for the consumers to use. If I could, I tried to delight the buyer in some way, so that my gift would end up being relied upon as a repeated purchase.
Prior to food packaging, I worked in housewares and cosmetics. I made perfume bottles, mascara applicators, spatulas, vegetable peelers, knife sets, eggbeaters, grilling tool sets, products that are still being made today. I had a lot of fun with my design career, now I want to give back.
