About Chloe
I am a dance choreographer, improviser, and performer born and raised in New York City. In my work, I explore the connections between performance, visual art, and the unique narrative of the individual dancer. As a freelance performer, I danced for Stefanie Nelson, Martha Tornay, Tammy Sugden-Carrasco, John Zullo, Elizabeth Furman, Lexie Thrash, Madeline Kurtz, and Justin Bass. I also performed in multiple Merce Cunningham works for The Cunningham Trust. I hold a Dance BFA and an Honors College Degree from SUNY Brockport. I was a 2020 Guest Artist at Lindenwood University and have been a Mentor for the Young Dancers Workshop at Bates Dance Festival for the past three years.

Dance lessons can come in a multitude of forms. I find it is extremely important to listen to exactly what the student is looking for. I then meet them where they are and supportively push them to their goals. It is important to creat a no-judgement and safe space. Dance can also be extremely academic and explorative. I enjoy mixing physical work with thoughtful insights and inquiries. We will build confidence and understand how dance can connect to every-day life and make each student a well-rounded, thoughtful, and inquisitive person.
