About Sean
I have been a guitar teacher for 18 years now. I have taught more than a hundred students from the ages of 7 to 70. I am able to teach beginners as well as advanced students. I am able to teach in French but also in English. I offer individually or groups in-person lessons at my recording studio. I am also able to give lessons in Visio via Skype or Zoom.

Having been educated by a classical guitar teacher from the age of 6 until I was 14, then self-taught to the age of 18 where I learned the basics of the electric guitar to finally be again be taught by a teacher, this time specialized in rock / blues and funk and having graduated from the University of Liverpool where I met and collaborated with dozens of different guitarists, I have assimilated a lot of information and have exposed to a lot of different methodologies. I started teaching in 2013 by applying everything I was given, using the elements that helped me the most to progress and trying, as much as possible, to only give the essentials so as not to frustrate my students. I teach mostly around Blues / Rock / Funk / Pop / Acoustic styles but whenever possible, always want to encourage my students to have some control over the curriculum so that everyone I meet can have fun. I think the key to success is consistency and discipline whilst having fun. My methodology is therefore mine that I have created and developed over the past few years and serves me very well.
I use Guitar Pro to write and class summaries so that there is a clear and easy visual and audio reminder for the students to follow at home.
