About Wendy
I am a Piano tutor with more than 10 years of teaching experience and have successfully taught over 750 students. Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with complete beginners, advanced performers, examination candidates, competition participants, and students pursuing music for personal enrichment.
My passion is helping learners discover their musical potential while developing confidence, discipline, creativity, and artistic expression. I believe music education should inspire students while building the technical skills required for long-term success.
Many students have successfully prepared for graded examinations, public performances, competitions, and advanced musical studies through my guidance. Their achievements demonstrate the value of combining structured instruction with supportive mentoring.

My Piano lessons are designed to help students build strong technical foundations, musical understanding, artistic confidence, and performance excellence through a structured and engaging learning approach. I teach Classical Piano, Contemporary Piano, Sight Reading, Ear Training, Music Theory, Rhythm Development, Improvisation, Musical Interpretation, and Performance Preparation.
Students begin by developing essential skills such as posture, hand position, finger independence, note recognition, rhythm accuracy, coordination, and listening abilities. These foundations create the technical framework required for advanced musical development and confident performance.
As students progress, lessons incorporate scales, arpeggios, technical exercises, repertoire studies, dynamics, phrasing, interpretation, improvisation, and advanced performance techniques. I encourage learners to understand the structure and meaning behind the music they play rather than simply memorizing notes.
Music theory is integrated directly into practical piano activities so students learn harmony, musical structure, rhythm, and analysis while applying these concepts immediately through performance. This approach helps learners become complete musicians with both technical and theoretical understanding.
Students preparing for examinations, recitals, competitions, auditions, or personal musical goals receive individualized guidance, structured practice plans, and detailed feedback designed to maximize progress and confidence.
