Lessons from me will provide insight on progressing through college, graduate school, postdoc training, and entry level biotech industry roles.
I’m an experienced mentor for nurturing high school students to be confident, college bound, and career focused. Guidance on creating admission essays, resumes, or CVs. Trained multiple undergraduate students and assisted in their applications to medical, dental, pharmacy, or graduate school. In grad school I was on the admission committee for my department and was trained through an NIH mentoring program for underrepresented or disadvantaged graduate students.
Making the transition from academia to the biotech industry can be difficult. Networking, LinkedIn, and preparing a technical toolbox for industry roles are essential for finding the right fit. Practicing for interviews, presentation skills, and negotiating contracts will prepare you for interviews and how to professionally ask for a more competitive offer.
