About Cameron
Hi there—I’m Cam, a professional software engineer and the current Lead Mobile & Machine-Learning Developer at a fast-moving startup. After 1.5 years writing production-grade Python at Nokia (my “native” coding language), I discovered how much I enjoy sharing what I know. Beyond code When I’m not programming I’m lifting weights, exploring new countries, or learning Japanese and Thai—so I know what it’s like to be a student, too! For the past few months I’ve been tutoring a small group of students. Watching their confidence and their code level up has been incredibly rewarding. Before that, as President of my university’s Software & Computer Engineering Society, I ran coding clinics and hackathons, guiding dozens of peers as they debugged projects and shipped their first apps. My lessons follow an explain → build → reflect cycle and use game-based projects so every new concept turns into visible, working code.
