About Francine
I am a professional violinist and passionate educator. I have been teaching violin professionally since 2009, and have worked in several schools in Australia and the United Kingdom, running string programmes, music departments, and conducting string orchestras. I am very committed to teaching and want to help you develop into the best violinist you can be.

My teaching is based on sequential development of skills and understanding of music in a holistic way. Attention is divided between the technique, tone production, note reading, aural training, and music theory. Over my career I developed my own teaching programme which organises the progression of my lessons. That said, I base the pace, focus, and the repertoire choices of lessons on the students' own personal goals and personality. Lessons are usually between 30-60 minutes, and I have taught violinists of all ages.
Throughout my teaching career I have worked in several schools in Australia and the United Kingdom, both as a violin teacher, but also running departments and string programmes.
