About Susanna
I am a professional viola player based in London, and a graduate with an experienced background in both Music and Science.
After completing an undergraduate degree in Biology at Imperial, I studied a Masters in viola performance at the Royal Northern College of Music, in which I gained a Distinction.
Since graduating, I have been expanding my career as a teacher as well as a freelance orchestral musician. I have performed with professional orchestras up and down the country, including the Hallé, Manchester Camerata and the Royal Northern Sinfonia.

I like to take a flexible yet focused approach to my teaching. By this I mean that I encourage my students to develop problem-solving skills for practising their instrument. I also use a variety of resources to teach and improve technique as well as general musicianship. Ultimately, I hope to encourage the joy of music in whatever repertoire the student would like to play, and I tailor the lessons to whatever suits them best.
