About Scott
I am in my 42nd year of teaching. I have taught hundreds if not thousands of students from Washington DC with the Department of the Interior and private lessons there to California teaching in stores, private home lessons and at my own home studio as well as Private Schools such as Bridges Academy in Studio City CA..
My greatest students have been accepted to The Berklee College of Music, The Oberlin Conservatory of Music, Julliard, USC's Thornton Program of Music, Stanford, Oregon, UCLA,Loyola, Vanderbilt and many more top Universities. My students have turned professional and are touring the United States; they have achieved Number 1 and Number 2 HIT records; Some have acquired endorsement deals with top Drum, Bass and Guitar and amplifier companies; others have become music teachers, sound & voice-over engineers among many other wonderfully rewarding positions.

I am a successful professional musician for over 50 years and a music teacher for 42 years teaching Drums, Acoustic and Electric Guitars, Bass Guitar, Piano, Music Theory, Songwriting and Beginning to advanced Rhythm studies.
I specialize in getting you, the student, to fully understand the instrument you have chosen to learn to play by having a complete and thorough curriculum of study. I teach at the speed and pace you are able to best learn and have had tremendous success with all of my fully motivated students.
Lessons are provided each week and you are expected to practice everything given in order to move on to higher levels of learning. I play instruments with you during the lessons to provide you with a real feeling of being involved in the act of playing music. I am easy going and will always encourage you and take great care in helping to guide you toward becoming great on your chosen instrument.
