About Aisling
I have tutored students for four years at my school in a variety of subjects, but primarily biology. I achieved a high grade 9 in my GCSE biology, and I am predicted an A* in my A-Level exam, as well as achieving a silver award in the UK Cambridge biology Olympiad. I thoroughly enjoy biology; I find it fascinating, and I enjoy discussing it with students, and seeing their understanding progress.

I work primarily with a discussion based tutoring method, as I have found this to be the most effective with all of my students. I believe that working through a resource and picking apart exam questions is the best way to gain a thorough understanding of a topic. I work through each topic of a syllabus methodically, in such a way that would allow for synoptic links to be made (which are often tested in exams). I like to make my sessions fun and engaging, as an engaged student is more likely to understand and retain information.
