About Shodeah

I am a first generation college graduate. I made it this far because I had people who believed in me and helped me reach my fullest potential. I would be honored to be one of those people for you or your student. Please let me know how I can help! I am excited to work with you!

About the lesson

With me, you can expect high energy as I love what I do.

I am terrible at talking about myself, so here is a review from a past parent:

"Shodeah, or as my son likes to call her, “Ms. Kelly”, is AMAZING! My son has gone through a few major transitions and was having a difficult time grasping new information at his new school after being a virtual learner in a different district for the past year. It started to reflect in his behavior, but since his very first session with Shodeah, I finally see the eagerness again that he once had. He’s excited to learn and Shodeah is able to pick up on cues, recognize what he may be struggling with, and offer new and exciting ways to help him understand. My son is full of energy and learns so much better when that energy is reciprocated. Your kid will definitely count down the days until they get to interact with Ms. Shodeah again. You won’t regret it!"

Krysta

Ease of access, flexibility and variety of subjects that could be covered by tutor. She is able to connect with students in a unique way that is engaging. With so many children working remotely, they can easily become frustrated and discouraged. Her strong curricular knowledge, combined with her positive, motivating mindset, helped my child feel successful as she worked through the material. I highly recommend her.
