About Bushra

I am a Psychology graduate with a strong academic and research background, and I enjoy helping students understand psychology in a way that feels clear, practical, and manageable. My experience with research, academic writing, literature reviews, and psychological theory allows me to support students beyond simply memorising course content.

I want to teach because I know that psychology can sometimes feel overwhelming when theories, studies, and research methods are presented in a highly technical way. I aim to make these concepts easier to understand while still maintaining the depth students need for strong academic performance.

I am patient, organised, and supportive in my teaching style, and I adapt my approach to each student’s level and learning goals. Whether a student needs help preparing for exams, understanding a difficult topic, improving academic writing, or developing confidence in research methods, I aim to create a comfortable learning environment where questions are always welcome.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed to make psychology clear, engaging, and easier to understand rather than relying on memorisation. I focus on helping students understand the reasoning behind theories, research findings, and psychological concepts, and then apply them to real-life examples, case studies, and exam questions.

I adapt each lesson to the student’s level, learning goals, and areas of difficulty. A typical lesson lasts around 45–60 minutes and may include concept explanation, discussion, examples, practice questions, research article breakdowns, or academic writing support.

With an academic background in Psychology and experience in research, academic writing, and psychological research methods, I can support students with subjects including social, cognitive, developmental, positive, and organisational psychology, as well as research methods, literature reviews, APA-style academic writing, and understanding research papers.

My lessons are best suited to A-Level, undergraduate, and university students who want to strengthen their understanding of psychology, prepare for exams, improve their academic writing, or feel more confident working with psychological research.
