My approach to tutoring is centered around creating a personalized, supportive, and engaging learning experience for each student. I believe that understanding the unique needs, strengths, and challenges of each student is key to helping them succeed. I aim to make learning enjoyable by breaking down complex concepts into simple, digestible steps and using real-life examples to make the material relatable. I also encourage critical thinking and problem-solving, which helps students build confidence and retain information long-term.
I typically offer 1-hour lessons, but I can adjust the length based on the student's needs and preferences. Each lesson is designed to be interactive, ensuring that students have the opportunity to ask questions and actively engage with the content. I also provide regular feedback and set clear, achievable goals to help students track their progress.
With a Bachelor's in Psychology and a current Master's, I have a strong academic background. I have consistently achieved top grades (A's and A*'s) in my own GCSEs and A-Levels, and I understand the methods and techniques that lead to academic success. I have 3 years of experience tutoring children in Amsterdam.
My lessons are tailored to students from preschool to high school depending on the age, subject, and goals of the child. Whether they're struggling to grasp a particular concept or aiming for top marks, I provide a supportive environment where students can build confidence, master the material, and achieve their academic goals.
