About Sarah
Hello! I'm a Psychology graduate with a passion for helping young learners build confidence and succeed in their 11+ journey. With a calm, encouraging approach, I specialise in breaking down tricky concepts in Maths, English, Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning, while also supporting students with focus, memory, and exam technique—skills grounded in my Psychology background. I aim to make lessons engaging, structured, and tailored to each child’s pace and learning style, helping them feel prepared and positive about the process.

Adaptable and flexible 60 min lessons that are uniquely tailored to student’s needs. Focus is on building strong foundations in the key subjects—Maths, English, Verbal Reasoning, and Non-Verbal Reasoning—while also developing the exam techniques and confidence students need to succeed under pressure. I break down complex topics into clear, bite-sized steps and use lots of guided practice, timed tasks, and review cycles to help students internalise what they’ve learned. I use a mix of traditional materials (e.g., Bond, CGP, and past papers), creative exercises to keep sessions engaging, and tailored feedback after each lesson.
