About Kristen
When I was at school, I had a hard time fitting in and getting along with my teachers, but I loved learning! I wanted to learn everything about everything! So when one of my teachers gave me the extra help to achieve my goals, I realised that I wanted to do the same for other children. I am patient, kind, understanding and calm. Trust me - I didn't understand it the first time, either! School is difficult and I want to help make it easier for you.

I have a fun approach to teaching, with the child not even realising they are learning! My lessons will typically last between 30 and 45 minutes to ensure optimum engagement - a bored child does not learn! I have tutored many children in the past, and have worked in many schools throughout my time working in education, including special needs schools. I specialise in primary school levels but can also work with children in secondary school working towards their GCSEs.
