About Regina
I am a nurse with a BA in Psychology focus in mental health. I have worked for 10 years in the mental health/substance abuse field and enjoy teaching, helping and guiding others on the knowledge I have gained. It is my goal to enrich the lives of others as they understand that wellness is more than just good overall health it encompasses all forms of health not just physical. To achieve a happier, more productive life there are coping skills and strategies which engage people and help them to really focus on their thought process as well as decisions they make. I have seen a lot of people suffering I have worked in capacities such as: residential drug and mental health facilities, psychiatric units, county jail on the psych and suicide watch floor, hospitals and most recently at an outpatient mental health clinic. I look forward to sharing the knowledge and skills I have obtained.

I base my teaching methods on a plan the student and I develop. Each person is different and each has a barrier they need to cross so a plan will be put in motion. The lessons are very interactive and the student will have small things to complete on their own. This ensures the interest in making the change they are seeking and I am available by email or text when needed for any questions or guidance.
