About Staci
My name is Staci and I have a PhD in Psychology. I have worked for over 10 years as an educator in Psychology at the university level, with a particular focus on introductory units and student support. I have a clear passion for teaching and enjoy assisting students across all units in undergraduate psychology. I have won multiple awards for my teaching work, and take pride in my excellent student feedback. I look forward to working with you and showing you how to really make the most of your degree. Studying psychology should be fun and intriguing, but this is often masked by the experience of being confused or finding the workload overwhelming. Let me help you with that aspect and help you focus on the concepts and ideas that you are passionate about.

As a previous Lecturer in Psychology, I have experience in teaching all units across undergraduate psychology degrees. My strength has always been in taking complicated concepts (think statistics, psychopathology, research design, biology etc) and breaking this down for students to easily digest and understand. I provide private and group tutoring for psychology undergraduate level students who are looking for assistance in understanding complex concepts as well as breaking down assessment tasks and ensuring marking criteria are met. I work with students online, using the materials provided by their course but also with my own templates and documents that aim to provide practical examples and applied knowledge. Lesson length is typically 30-90mins and delivered online.

Details
My current rates are $70 an hour for online support. I offer an introduction and planning session of 15mins to get to know one another and make plans for study sessions, this is free of charge. I also work offline in reviewing writing (e.g. for honours students). Rates for this work will be discussed individually with students depending on the amount of words to be reviewed and timeline etc
