About Cait
As a recent student, I appreciate the importance of understanding your method of learning and revision to achieve the best possible results. I want to help students who may not know where to start with understanding this or are stuck with their revision and want to try something new. I work part-time in marketing for a financial network, and so I am accustomed to meeting deadlines, working to other people's schedules, and maintaining confidentiality of our clients; behaviours that will be translated to my work as a tutor. The changes to the education system have led to students feeling like the odds are stacked against them, and I want to be able to help students achieve the best of their ability, and help them overcome these challenges.

Methodology is adapted to each student once I understand their approach to learning. Typically, such methods would include timeline creation, problem definition and solution approach, keyword and definition assessments, as well as essay planning and writing. I have a First Class Bachelors degree in History and Politics, within which I have studied topics ranging from feminism to the French Revolution, and I am predicted to achieve a Distinction for a Masters in Public Policy which I just completed in September 2021.
I have 5+ years experience in babysitting both younger kids and teens, and have had a small amount of experience working with SEND children at a secondary school in Suffolk. I also helped my brother with his revision during his GCSEs, so have first-hand experience with tutoring for exams. My lessons are focused at GCSE and A-Level students studying history and/or politics, but I am happy to look at students on a case-by-case basis if they need support throughout their school experience.
