About Evelyn

I am a published poet with multiple writing awards (including the Averett University Ember Award For Written Arts 2023-2024) and a love of teaching. I am also one of the founding members of the Averett University Creative Writing Club. I have a long history of tutoring, and am known for my patience and kind demeanor.

About the lesson

I connect very easily with students, and have a patient demeanor that allows for a low-pressure learning environment. I can assist in homework -- including essay writing, poetry analysis and writing, literature analysis, and other English needs. I am a safe space for all students to learn in their own way.
