About Rachel

I am a qualified early childhood teacher with over two years experience working as a kindergarten teacher in both Ireland and Vietnam. I have lived and taught English in primary schools in Vietnam as well as tutoring one on one and group classes English with children from 3-14 years of age. I am currently studying my masters for primary school teaching in United Kingdom and am hoping to be able to tutor some children whilst completing my studies.

About the lesson

As I have taught in many different settings I like to assess each invididuals capabilities and levels of English before I begin my teaching. I like to mix a range of methodologies together when teaching my students. I use a very hands on approach and like the children to learn through fun and interesting activities rather than using repeatative techniques.

Jamie

Rachel is by far one the most professional teachers I’ve worked with to date. Her work ethic is faultless and the relationship she builds with each child is something to admire. She is able to adapt to any situation and overcome it with ease. The children respect her as a teacher and most importantly learn from her. She is a natural when it comes teaching and would recommend her to any school.
