About Myar
Hi, I’m Myar, a friendly and approachable Science and Biology tutor who is passionate about helping students feel confident in subjects they may initially find challenging. I hold a First-Class BSc in Biomedical Science, an MSc in Reproduction & Pregnancy and a PGCE with QTS. Through my teacher training, I gained hands-on classroom experience teaching Biology and Science to secondary students. I understand that every student learns differently, so I take the time to identify areas they find difficult and explain concepts clearly and patiently. I aim to create a relaxed, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and developing their confidence.

I provide supportive, engaging Biology and Science lessons for GCSE and KS3 students, adapting each session to the student’s individual needs and learning style. My approach combines clear explanations, questioning, exam-style practice and active recall to build understanding and confidence. Lessons are typically 60 minutes, with flexibility depending on the student’s needs. I hold a PGCE with QTS, an MSc in Reproduction & Pregnancy and a First-Class BSc in Biomedical Science, alongside recent classroom teaching experience. My aim is to make Science easier to understand, enjoyable and less overwhelming, while helping students develop the knowledge and exam skills needed to succeed.
