About Kevin
Are you aiming for an A or A* in Biology — or have your sights set on Medicine, Dentistry, or a top university?
I specialise in getting students to the grades they need. With experience across all major UK exam boards — AQA, OCR, Edexcel, IB and Cambridge International — I know exactly what examiners are looking for and how to teach you to deliver it.
My students have gone on to secure places at Oxford, Cambridge, medical and dental schools. That doesn't happen by accident — it comes from targeted, exam-focused tutoring that builds both confidence and technique.
Whether you're struggling to break through to a B, or pushing for that A*, get in touch and let's make it happen.

My lessons are tailored to you — your gaps, your learning style, your target grade. Whether you're a visual learner, need concepts broken down step by step, or just need someone to finally make something click, I adapt my approach to what works for you.
In a typical lesson you can expect:
Clear explanations using slides and diagrams.
Interactive whiteboard work where you're actively thinking, not just listening.
Past paper practice with mark scheme analysis — so you know exactly how to phrase answers to pick up every mark.
I'm calm, patient and direct — you'll always leave a lesson knowing more than when you started.
Lessons are delivered online via Google Meet.

Perfect! Kevin is a fantastic tutor. He explains concepts incredibly clearly and in great detail, using a whiteboard to annotate and support his lessons. My daughter really enjoyed her A-level Biology lessons with him. Although she had him for a relatively short time, the lessons were very valuable. He has a great pace and explains things in a way that is easy to understand.
My daughter achieved a solid grade and I’m very pleased with the support Kevin provided. If you come across Kevin, I would highly recommend booking him.View more reviews

Kevin is a really experienced tutor who is able to connect really well with his students. They feel more confident with Biology and you can see he gets great results. I would definitely recommend his tutoring lessons for Biology.
My daughter has had 3 lessons with Kevin and she already feels more confident and motivated. She was lacking in confidence since starting A level as she did well in GCSE Biology but found AS difficult to get good grades. He explains the concepts clearly which she wasn't getting at school and does lots of exam questions to practice. I am glad I have found Kevin to tutor my daughter.
I have worked with Kevin in an international school for two years, whilst he has been teaching Science and Biology classes, up to and including A-level. I am Head of Chemistry but with a background that includes teaching Biology. I have observed his teaching and he is organised, clear and has excellent subject knowledge. Students enjoy his lessons and they consistently obtain very good examination grades.
I am a science teacher and I work in the same department as Kevin in our school. The students really like his lessons and his results are always really strong.
I have observed his lessons a few times and he explains concepts well and gets the best out of his students. I would definitely recommend him as a great tutor.
