About Yumarlin

I have 27 years experience as an educator with 22 of those in a special needs environment which has helped me develop strategies and skills that have helped learners bridge gaps and overcome challenges, enabling them to re-enter and cope in the mainstream environment. I also have 7 years experience as a member of management, which has helped me further develop my skills as an educator because I have to lead by example.

About the lesson

One on one teaching, with an emphasis on mastery of basic concepts before applying what has been learnt. I am calm and gentle and use humor to help learners feel at ease before tackling a subject that causes much anxiety. We will celebrate every victory and face every challenge together. I specialize in Mathematics from grades 4-7 and all lessons are conducted in English.
