About Mia
I have a degree from the university of Bristol in English Literature and Philosophy and I have a TEFL (teaching English as foreign language) qualification. I have 5 years of teaching experience, teaching those of all ages, levels and nationalities. I have lived and studied in many countries and am now based in Malta.

My experience has taught me how to tailor each lesson and course to my individual students, as everyone learns in a different way and I ensure that my teaching methodology is effective in each specific case. I am interested in getting to know my students and their interests, as this will help me teach in an engaging way. When we begin lessons, I will assess what you specifically want out of the English language and I will ensure we attain it in an interactive and interesting way; whether it's conversational fluency, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, etc. I use a whole range of materials and believe in the importance of boosting one's speaking, writing and reading confidence in a judgement-free zone.
